About

Hi, and welcome to my blog!

My name is Joseph Crumpler, though you might know me online as Mojoey. I’m a recently retired IT professional, transitioning from a life spent managing ERP systems and leading tech projects to a more creative, curiosity-driven chapter, part-time family Uber driver, handyman, all-around slacker, and proud bird nerd.

I live on the border between Los Angeles and Orange County in Southern California, where I was born and raised. This place, with all its chaos and color, has always been home.

My interests are eclectic and ever-growing, but the things that get me up each morning include:
🎯 Disc golf
📓 Journaling & personal knowledge management (PKM)
📸 Photography & birding
📖 Reading, poetry, history & genealogy
🎮 Gaming, art—and most importantly, spending time with my grandkids, my amazing wife, and the rest of my family.

This blog is a space where I explore whatever captures my attention, from backyard birding to digital organization, from the little things that spark joy to the deeper threads that tie it all together.

Feel free to reach out if you want to connect. Thanks for stopping by.

I’m Joe/Mojoey
